Warner Music Group Executive Responds to Jobs' "Blog Post"
While EMI contemplates offering music DRM-free, Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. responds to Jobs' "Thoughts on Music" with some harsh words and an endorsement of DRM.
I didn't make the connection at the time, but it's no wonder that "the Bronfster" has some harsh words for Jobs:
"We saw this trick before; Apple pulled it on the recording industry. First iTunes worked in partnership with the major record labels to distribute content, but soon Warner Music's CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. found that he wasn't able to dictate a pricing model to Steve Jobs."
