Have you ever wanted to build a nuclear fusion reactor out of junk from eBay and the local hardware store? Teenager Thiago Olson recently finished his own spare-parts fusion reactor. While it needs more energy than it produces, Olson was still able to create a "star in a jar", burning hot plasma at over two hundred million degrees. Pretty good for a highschool physics student.
Could this be the ultimate hardware hack?
